CAT's Summer Coaches
Trey Parris grew up swimming for CAT and is back for his fifth season of coaching. Trey spent his first two years of college swimming at Notre Dame College where he was a part of back-to-back conference championship and along the way set three school records. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in May 2025 with a degree in Accounting. Trey is also the head coach of Cleveland's year-round swimming team Cleveland Aquatics.
Isaac Turner grew up swimming for the Aqua Tigers starting at the age of 4 and also swam for the McCallie Swim Club. In high school, he decided to switch sports to track and wrestling. In track, Isaac qualified for regionals in several events and was a part of Bradley’s wrestling team, which won 2nd place in the state championship. Isaac has since then moved into the field of construction. This is his second year as a CAT coach.
Devon Frakes started his swimming career right here with the Cleveland Aqua Tigers at age 6. Additionally, he began swimming for McCallie swim club year round for 9 years while continuing to swim summers for CAT. Devon was a top qualifier and southeastern top 8 swimmer in multiple events throughout his career while also enjoying running for his middle school and high school teams. Devon joined the Navy Reserves upon graduating high school, coming back after duties and schooling to attend MTSU for aviation. He is excited and ready to be returning to his home pool to show his passion for teaching others the love for swimming and competing! This is his second year as a CAT coach.
